Team Practice
Practice Schedule
Divers are expect to attend 1 practice each day Monday - Friday. They may choose which ever practice best fits their schedule.
Tuesday May - June 16
4-5pm, 5-6pm, 6-7pm
June 18-July 24
8-9am, 9-10am, 10-11am
What to expect
Each practice begins with "dryland" stretching and strength training.
Divers move to the boards and focus on fundamentals including front jumps, front dives and back dives. Coaches will monitor each of our 2 boards giving input and teaching all components of dive from the hurdle, take-off, in air technique and entry. Each diver will learn to dive safely and successfully.
Divers receive individual guidance based on skill level and goals. Newer divers may start on the side of the pool or receive assistance on the board. More experienced divers may be asked to attempt more challenging dives. Each diver will learn to listen to and trust their coaches.
